Furniture and Things, Inc./Plants and Things USA (FTI/PTUSA) warrants to the original customer all non-upholstered indoor furnishings to be free from manufacture defect in workmanship and material for a period of five (5) years following the date of purchase. This warranty does not include normal humidity, sunlight, neglect, alteration, abuse or misuse. This warranty does not cover any wood finishes. Floor samples, closeouts, "Final Sale Price," "As-Is," tent-sale, one-of-a kind clearance, warehouse sales and mega furniture outlet items are excluded from above warranty. Upholstery products carry a limited lifetime warranty on frames and seat springs. Cushions and seams carry a one (1) year warranty against manufacturers defects unless stated otherwise by the manufacturer. Some settling, shading or pilling of fabric and cushions may occur, as this is normal wear. The Fabric warranty is limited to the manufacturer's warranty and discretion. All warranties are void if manufacturer goes out of business.

Reclining furniture carries a limited lifetime warranty on frames, seat springs, and reclining parts. Labor for installation of new parts is not covered. All power recliner or lift chair motors, are (1) year warranty parts and labor.

Bedding – All bedding sets carry different warranties. See individual warranty information for bedding set purchased.

Rugs and Carpets – Rugs and carpets are subject to slight and natural imperfections, some shading and pilling may occur. Seams carry a 6 month limited warranty.

All outdoor merchandise carries a one (1) year FTI/PTUSA and manufacturer's limited warranty on defects. Although some normal weathering may occur, some maintenance may be required to maintain finishes or preserve the condition of the item. Some items may need to be stored indoors during winter.

Should service under these warranties be necessary, the purchaser may return the product for service to FTI/PTUSA, or products can be picked up for service at the current delivery rate. (See store for details.)

Repairs and replacement under this limited warranty will be made by FTI/PTUSA or anyone FTI/PTUSA authorizes. Any cost or repair charges not covered by the manufacturer warranty are the customer's responsibility.

The customer must have and show the original receipt in order for service work to apply.

Liability for consequential property or commercial damage is excluded by the warranty. This is a limited warranty.

FTI/PTUSA, Inc. has a seven (7) day return policy for regular in-stock priced items. All returns must include the original receipt and original packaging. All items returned must be clean and free from odors and other forms of damage. FTI/PTUSA has the right to use discretion in accepting returns.

All closeouts, "As-Is," tent-sale, one-of-a-kind, warehouse sale items and clearance sale items are final and cannot be returned.

All refunds/exchanges are subject to a 30% restocking fee per item, plus a return delivery fee (if necessary). FTI/PTUSA may also deduct from the refunds or original sale price for returned items that need to be cleaned, sanitized, deluxed and prepared for donation.

All charges for delivery or services are non-refundable. Special order sales are final. Original customer agrees that the frame/s, fabric/s, stain color/s and measurements are correct, of the item ordered as written. Original customer understands special orders and basic orders are non-refundable.

Transportation – If you transport your own merchandise, you are responsible for any damage acquired. FTI/PTUSA will help load and tie down the merchandise per customer request. FTI/PTUSA will not be liable for damages towards item/s sold, or consequential property during customer's own transport.

Lay-a-way – Lay-a-ways require 25% deposit, with 5% of the balance owed as a monthly payment to keep lay-a-way active. Lay-a-ways should be closed within ninety (90) days. Closeout, "As-Is," tent-sale, one-of-a-kind and clearance end sale items are not available for lay-a-way. FTI/PTUSA retains the right to resell or restock lay-a-way items after the 90-day period if items are not picked up by customer, delivered by FTI/PTUSA or delivered by a third party freight company.

FTI/PTUSA offers the service to deliver items sold by FTI/PTUSA, Inc. to the customer's property. If a customer requests additional items not delivered to be moved for customer's convenience, FTI/PTUSA will not be liable for possible damages made towards items moved or consequential property.

If you wish to pick up the merchandise, please set a dock appointment with the store from which you bought the merchandise. (Please call in advance to schedule a dock appointment at any of our locations).

Dock appointment may occur at the Distribution Center seven days a week between 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Dock appointment may occur at the stores Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

"Special Arrangements" can be made with management regarding docking for customer pick-up.

All customer pick-ups at the store must be made within the week sold. Merchandise not picked up within the week sold will be sent back to the Distribution Center.

Once an item is purchased FTI/PTUSA cannot be responsible for the close-out or discontinuation of any product, product style or model from the manufacturer, or the change in dye lot or discontinuation of fabric.

All casters are for shipping purposes only, we recommend that casters be removed while in-house. FTI/PTUSA is not liable for potential accidents caused by leaving casters on after purchase.

FTI/PTUSA reserves the right to modify all policies stated above without notice.

*Finish colors and fabrics may vary depending on a number of factors.  Every effort is made to ensure the product shown is as closely represented as the floor model stocked, if at all possible.
