Customer service is key with these folks! We had a very good purchasing experience here but where they really earned their good reputation was the customer service they showed me today at pickup. Our item we purchased was in, and when we made our purchase we were told it would be available at the warehouse. When making our plans to pick up, I googled the warehouse but couldn’t find it so we just went to the store for pickup. Upon arrival they directed us to a little pickup door at the back of the main showroom. Upon inquiring at the door, we were told that our purchase was indeed at the warehouse and that the warehouse was closed on Sundays. Disappointing since we came from Plymouth, but it was our bad. However, the manager came out to talk to us and without us even asking, he told us he’d see if he had the key for the warehouse, and then he sent one of his dock attendants to the warehouse and opened it up just for us to get our item. Absolutely above and beyond. It would have been fine for us to come back since it wasn’t their fault we showed up on a day where the warehouse isn’t open for pickups, but the fact that they did it just for us was so appreciated. I will absolutely consider Furniture and Things again the next time I need to make a furniture purchase.
